Next Stop: Reunited Shorts

Meet Rachel Parlett! Rachel (she/her) is a Theatre' graduate from Armstrong State University and a key pillar to The Connection Theatre. She will be directing our next play: Reunited Shorts. Created in hopes of bringing a new avenue of arts into Liberty County, The Connection Theatre is only operational because of the key people who have become our main supporters. Rachel boarded the theatre before auditions were held for its very first show. Acting as a partner in crime, Rachel

has worked faithfully and closely with Heather to make this dream a reality by standing in as a stage manager, an administrator, a main representative, an actress, and now as a director! While her skills shine brightly in every capacity, the true testament to her name is her ability to accept people for whoever they are and to gently guide them based on their individual situation. Rachel cares about everyone who steps through the door with a desire to be a part of our team and has continued to make everyone feel confident and supported.

Rachel will be directing Reunited Shorts by Len Cuthbert for The Connection Theatre's spring show! According to Dramatic Publishing, "Reunited Shorts is an evening of theatre comprised of six unique short plays about reunions. They are about the awkward, humorous and emotional experience of humans coming together … again." Auditions are on January 14th and 15th from 5p.m. - 8:30p.m. Needed are 1-5 males and 2-7 females.

More information on auditions, casting, future shows, and other ways to volunteer will continue to be posted on our website as well as our social media pages. We welcome any and all to participate in a variety of ways to offer skills and support!
